I was so sorry to hear Aunt Mary had passed away. She had a long and full life and I know she will be happy now to be with Uncle Ed once again.
She was always so good to me and I really enjoyed her letters over the years.I feel terrible because I didn't write more often after Rollie passed away but I just let things slip.I especially used to look forward to all the visits your family made down home.We shared quite a few good times.
My prayers and sympathy are with you.

Joann and Joe,
I was so sorry to hear from Bev that Aunt Mary had passed away. She lived a long and good life but it is always sad to think that your mother will no longer be here with you.
It's funny - I was telling my boys about how Uncle Eddie and Aunt Mary were big Sabres fans just a few weeks ago as the Stanley Cup playoffs were beginning.
I'll always remember our visits to Buffalo and of course, the summer that your parents visted us in Sydney and offered to take me back to Buffalo with them. I was too scared to go!
I'll say a prayer for Aunt Mary. All the best to you and your families,
Sheila (Fitzsimmons) Gillis

Nana was one of those few special people in your life that touched you, inspired you and influenced you in a way that no other person could. Those of us that were fortunate enough to have had her in our lives will forever carry a part of her with us. She truley was one of God's special gifts to us. She was never one to judge. Her love was unconditional. I feel so fortunate to have grown up and have had her be a part of my life for so long. I will forever cherish my childhood memories of her. I will remember all of her stories and our hockey discussions. I will remember how the simplest things made her so happy. I will remember her laugh and her smile......I will remember her. We are all extremely saddened by her passing. But, it is our own loss of her that makes us sad. She lived a very very long and fullfilling life. She was tired. She is happy now. She is with Papa once again. Now she can see and spend as much time with any of us that she wants no matter how far away we are. We all can have peace in knowing that she will forever be with us all. That is her heaven. Our God wouldn't have it any other way. The life that she did lead should serve as an example to us all. I can only hope that I will live a fraction of as long and as full of a life that she did. Nana enjoy your rinkside seat! You'll never miss anything now. I love you!

Mary, Dear Friend, May you rest in Peace with The Lord. I remember our Faith Sharing group, and how we attended Mass on Wednesdays and enjoyed lunch at Burger King! Now you are in Paradise! Love, Kathy
