Dear Ann, Frances, Lucien, and Sara;

Your mother will be missed greatly! Her wit and wisdom were the best. She was a great friend to my mother and father, Jane and Ben Kyser, who I'm sure now are all having a great time together. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your grief.

In 1985 I met Mrs. Stevenson while in Augusta for the Masters Tournament. During my visit, she extended many courtesies that were greatly appreciated. I admired her warmth, exceptional intellect, sense of humor, and generous community service. Lucien, Cass, Riley and Zadoc have my sincere sympathy and my thoughts are with them.

Frances was such a presence! I have thought of her often since I left the Augusta area. The world will be a little dimmer without her bright light.

I did not know Frances personally but from time to time Ann would paint me a picture by sharing some wonderful stories. These events Ann shared with me truly depicted the love and adoration she had for her mamma. Listening to Ann speak of her made it apparent to me that she was very proud to have such a lovely woman as a mother. May these memories bring comfort.
