Dear Dr. Hurley and Family,
Betsy was a truly great woman who will be missed tremendously. I will never forget all Mrs. Hurley taught me at the N.C.D.A.'s office. When together, the Richard S. Saraf family shares many fond memories of growing up on Morrow Avenue including the Hurleys.
It is rare that someone with such deep intelligence shares it with the community as Betsy did. It is an added boon she had the courage to break down so many barriers. We were delighted to have you at our wedding 19 years ago. With deepest sympathy,
Ric and Dianna Saraf

As Niagara County's first judge for a domestic violence court, Betsy Hurley participated in a groundbreaking effort that continues today. I will always remember her courtesy, her interest in learning more about family violence, and her modesty. My sympathy and best wishes to her family and friends.
