Dear Ben, Toni, Hank, Rosalie & Jimmy
We just found out about Josie. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. What can I say about her that hasn't already been said by many before me. She was a guardian angel who was there for you in your need. I will never forget what both you and Josie did for me in my time of need. She loved everyone who she accepted as her friend. Never a doubt that she was a loyal friend at that. The good times we all had together on Hamilton and then later through the years will always be with me. I couldn't think of having a St. Joseph Table without her.
Even now, when March 19th rolls around, I still think of how she looked forward to our celebration.
Our hearts go out to you and our prayers. Anyone who has had a moment of Josie in their life has been truly blessed.

Dear Ben,
I have such fond childhood memories of Jo and will never forget growing up nextdoor to your wounderful family. I realize how special our friendship and neighborhood really was. I am so glad that we got to visit you both a few years ago. All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Benny and family, Josie was a great lady in every way. She always brought a smile to your face when you saw her. She always had a loving and kind word about everyone and everything. You will all be in our prayers.

Dear Ben and Family,
You became our second family the day we moved in upstairs! How lucky we were to find you! Now we have the memories of so many wonderful occasions, and especially Christmas mornings, ever since 1967!! That table filled with Josie's "goodies" is a permanent picture in our minds!
I am so sad that we were out of town, and unable to comfort you personally. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Maggie (Margaret) and Jim

Dear Ben and family,
Allow me to re-introduce myself; I am the Step-son of Dave Ramos who has helped raise me since I was about 5 1/2 years old and now 24. I was deeply sadden to hear about the loss of your loved one. I will always be grateful for her support for the military. When I received a care package while I was serving in Iraq, I knew I was blessed with a wonderful extended family. I too was very happy to meet her and Ben for the first time at the family reunion while they were visiting in CA. Thank you for having such a kind heart for you will be dearly missed.
Love,
David & Diane Ramos

Dear Uncle Ben and cousins Toni, Hank, Rosalie and Jimmy:
We were so sadden to hear of Aunt Josie's passing. She was a beautiful woman full of love and compasion for family and friends old and new. My wife Diane had always asked me to take her to Buffalo to visit and meet the rest of my family. I only wished I had kept my promise a few years earlier. We will always cherish the time you and Uncle Ben spent with us when you came to California for the Ramos Family Reunion. At that time you made sure to tell us how your home always had an open door for family and friends and for us not to worry about a place to sleep or eat. Aunt Jo, we will miss you dearly and you will forever be in our hearts.
Love,
Leonard Erisman

Ben and your family
The day we moved in next door and Ben and Jo became our neighbors was like moving next to family. Jo and Ben have been the best neighbors anyone can ask for and my family will miss her so much.
You are so special to have a wife and mother that was loved by so many people. May God take care of the whole family. We will always be here for you Ben and your family.

Like my brother Jed said, Aunt Jo was a very special lady. I only made the Thanksgiving food fest once, but Aunt Jo made me feel right at home. She just had that warm, welcoming way about her.

Aunt Jo was a special lady. I will always be grateful to her for how welcome she made us feel when we came to visit. Our trips to Buffalo were so very important to us during our years in Boston. We felt so isolated from our families in California. It was wonderful to feel the connection to our family in Buffalo. Whether it was staying up to make sandwiches for us at 11:00 pm when we would finally arrive from Boston or always making sauce and macaroni for us because she knew how much we loved it, Aunt Jo always made us feel like part of the family. I will always remember her for that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time in your life. I remember Mrs. Ramos when I was a young child, she was the type of person who always stopped what she was doing and made you feel welcomed in her home. She also made sure that we were well fed!!! More people like Mrs. Ramos would make this world a better place.
