Mark, Scott, and Karen -- I don't know if you'll go back and find this entry, from October 2011. I was very sorry to hear of the passing of both your parents. I always enjoyed their company, including pinochle games in your kitchen, and of course your father was a great influence on me through Scouting. I hope you're all well.

Dear Family,
I believe that Nick and I worked together at General Mills, He was shift Quality Control Tech, and he was a man who knew his job and preformed it well. He was also a wonderful person, and always looked like he was handsome and fit. I'm sure he will be missed. My sympathy to the family. Tom Chowaniec, Benicia,Ca

Jackie I am so sorry you lost your husband. I keep checking the obituaries every day hoping I won't find anyone I know. I hope he didn't suffer long and I hope you are doing okay. I never forgot you.
