Dear Kevin and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I worked with Tom at Lowry for about 11 years. I knew him to be an outstanding teacher and colleague as well as a fine family man. He always spoke so highly of his family of whom he was so proud.
I remember seeing you Kevin, stop over to Lowry to get a ride home from your Dad. He introduced us once but as there were many faculty members, it would be hard for you to remember. Just want you and your family to know that you are in my prayers as are your parents. I wish you peace during this time of sadness. Follow in your Dad's footsteps and you will be well respected by all, as he was and is. May God Bless you all.
Sincerely,
Daniel J. Corbett

Great cousin- Great friend - Great person. I can still picture him in a red plaid shirt, cowboy hat and a cowboy pistol on each hip when we were kids. We played little league baseball together on the Skunkhollow team; we won the championship that year, I still have the trophy at home with our names on it. We were both stationed on the same base in Viet Nam but unfortunatly not at the same time. Tom's got a very special place in my heart. Special Special Guy!!! God Bless.

I met Tom when I started working in the Guidance Office of Payne Junior High School 29 years ago and when it turned to Lowry Middle School (camp runamuck) later. Tom was always a good teacher and friend. Tom and I saw each other at times after I retired in '98. My husband and I would see Tom in restaurants, etc. I never had the pleasure of meeting you, Kevin, but your Dad talked about you a lot. We felt that we knew you. Your Dad was a wonderful guy to work with and to be able to talk to. He will always be in our hearts and minds.

To Tom's Family,
I had the honor of teaching with your dad at Lowry, a.k.a. "camp runamuck!" Those were the exact words I was greeted with. Tom was a wonderful teacher and friend. It was a pleasure to chat with him, dine with him and talk. Tom was one of the finest teachers I worked with and I am so saddened to hear of his passing. The thoughts and prayers of my wife and I are with you and yours. My our Dear Lord be with you and yours. My His comfort abide with you throughout the comming days and weeks.

From the very first day I walked into school I knew I had a wonderful new friend for life. Tom put his hand out to me and said "welcome to camp runamuck". It was his constant sense of humor throughout his life that added "zest" to all of ours. I just spoke to him three weeks ago and I can't believe that he's gone, however, his memory will linger on in all our hearts
