Our Dear Uncle Don, we hope you are happy, we hope you are pain free and we know you are with Troy! We will always remember the good times and laughter; and how you used to scare the kids with your leg! :) You are truly a wonderful person, uncle and great uncle who was ALWAYS there for us and who would do ANYTHING for us if asked/needed. You will surely be missed, but we will always treasure the memories!! We were so lucky to have you in our lives and we will never forget you. We love you and always will.

Aunt Jeanie...I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you. Although I have only known him for a few years, I will never forget him. We all loved him and he will be sadly missed. His life and memories will NEVER be forgotten. I love you and want you to know that we are all here for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jean; I am sorry I could not make up there, but you are in my heart & prayers. I loved Don & never forgot his birthday. I want you to know he is in a better place than you & I, he is also with family & escpecially mom. He will let you know he is alright in his good old time. Aunt Jean,
I want you to know that Scott and I and the kids love you and are here for you during this difficult time. Uncle Don was a very special part of our lives. Casey and Andy adored him and we will always have our memories of the laughter, good times, and special moments shared. I know that Uncle Don and Troy are together. I also know that he will always hold a special place in our hearts. Uncle Don leaves a legacy of love, generosity, bravery, and sacrifice for his country that will never be forgotten. We love you ya big Teddy Bear!

I love you so much Uncle Don!! You were such an enormous part of my life growing up and I could never have asked for a better Godfather. You taught me so much - how to love animals, that pepperoncinis were great with Italian bread, and how to be a good person in life. I hope you have found a certain measure of happiness in seeing Troy again. I will miss you. I love you forever...

Uncle Don,
You were more than an Uncle to me. You were a friend. I remember going to your house, you telling me war stories, watching old Jet Li movies and old War Movies. I'll miss the times when we went swimming in your pool and you kept on asking me if the water was "wet enough". I remember when Troy died at the young age at 23 and how sad you were. Despite all the troubles, you were a great man. You fought for our country and even gave up your leg to keep us free. Your in a better place now. Your back with Troy and you have your leg back. I love you Uncle Don. I miss you. Tell Troy I said hi. I Love You!!!!!

Aunt Jean,
You are in my thoughts. I just want to let you know how much Uncle Don will be missed. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death they continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. I truly find comfort in knowing our lives have been enriched by having shared the love of Uncle Don. I know that it is difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, but when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. I will treasure the time, memories and laughter that I had with Uncle Don. Uncle Don, please know that I will kiss your babies for you every day!!!! Hugs and Kisses,
