My dearest, dearest Dawn...boy-o-boy, the times we had in highschool! We have been through so much together that if the walls could talk we would be in trouble! I'm so sad that God called you home so early in life, but you have lived a FULL life. I envy the strength and determination you had to pull yourself up by your bootstraps to begin touching so many lives, there will never be another like you in my life, I thank God for the opportunity to have known you. You will be forever in my thoughts and in my heart.

GOD ALWAYS HAS A WAY OF BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER AT THE RIGHT TIME. I WENT TO KEN HIGH WITH DAWN, AND KIND OF LOST TOUCH UNTIL SHE STARTED WORKING IN HUMAN SERVICES THRU CITY COURT. I WAS TRULY SCHOCKED TO HEAR OF HER PASSING. ONE THING I DO KNOW IS THAT SHE HAD IT RIGHT WITH THE LORD. I PRAY THAT THE FAMILY FINDS COMFORT IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. GOD BLESS

To my dearest cousin Dawn, I am so, so sadden about not having you here with me but GOD knows best. We were twins in name, twins in the crazy ways of ours, and two of the craziest heavyweights of life...I love you sooo much and will miss you dearly and the talks and debates we had. I want to send my thought and prayers to the Carr family. I have only known Dawn since employment with Spectrum Human Services in March 2008, and I could honestly say that she was the most loving and caring person that I have ever met. I am glad that I had the opportunity to get to know her for a short period of time. Dawn will be greatly missed!!!

Dawn, I must say you will truly missed!! We had some very good times in DE and the time we came to Buffalo and that is all I could and want to remember. I know you are in a much better place with your simple self!! To your family my prayers and thoughts will be with you all during this sad time of bereavement. I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn in July 08, through a lovely summer picnic game of BINGO. Being an outsider to this event , Dawn touched me with lots of laughter and made me feel very welcome. She will truly be missed , as her soul takes a moment of rest , just to be uplifted again as she starts a new chapter in her life. Dawn thank you for the wonderful time spent this summer and may God continue to shine his glory throughout the family, in this time of need.

This is very difficult to receive, but I know that we all have to take this road, but to hear of this was very sad, but GOD,he knows everything about us, he makes no mistake. When I think back I think of the times when she would come to Delaware with that big smile of hers and just talk and talk and talk, oh that was one of things that made her whom she was, a friendly person that loved people. Through all of this we need to stand strong and know that he is God, and comfort one another and relive every memory we have of Dawn, she was a sweet soul, if you can't think of anything else just remember that God loved her best.
To the Sons, just concentrate on what your mom asked and wanted for you, that is one way you can honor her, she wouldn't have asked if she didn't think you could do it.

I met Dawn five years ago working together in human services. We shared many special times together working out and going to lunch. I learned to appreciate our freindship and her loving personality. My prayers and condolences goes out to all of Dawn's family.

This is a hard time for many of Us who loved Dawn. I remember when I met Dawn 10 Yrs ago when I started wrorking a Delta Sonic When I first met her she welcomed me with open arms. From that day forward we became good friends. We use to sit on her porch late at night and just kick it until we relized we may need to get some rest. Dawn was a loving person, and she loved the childdren. She would always say "come give auntie Dawn a kiss and put her lip stick all over the kids face. Dawn will always be in my heart and never forgotten. To her family I give my condolences, I know close Dawn was to her family. My we keep her in our hearts at all times. To her sons keep pushing on to get to the next level, you know she only wanted the best for you guys.

To Dawn's Family,
I went to Kensington H.S with Dawn & Reggie back in the 80's. It shocked me to learn about her passing. I just want to let the family know that I send my condolences. When situations come up like this, it just makes us stronger and how to truly love more. To Dawn's children, you be there for each other and keep a relationship with each other. I know as a mother that would be my biggest worry...my children. Your mom is gone to a more peaceful place without worries, stress and pain. Just remember the happiest time you had with her and believe me that time will help mend your hearts. God bless you all!
