bill, david, and tim; my mother could never mention aunt tootsie without remembering one particular chocolate cake that she baked. i, too, remember the wonderful cooking smells coming from the kitchen and being sent by her to the wild blueberry patch so that your mom could bake pies. your mom had a heart as big as her smile and taught me to find humor in just about anything- especially driving down polish hill in the winter! i hope that aunt tootsie and dolores are enjoying chocolate cake and hugging all of the family members they are now with. love, cousin deb

I have so many many good memories of Aunt "Tootsie". I'd spend days at her house in the Summer and again in the winter during hunting season to hunt with my cousins. Through all her life she remained positive. Good times and bad she would smile. I learned much from her. When we boys would all hunt she once told us that if anything happened to one of us all the others would have to keep reminding her that we still needed her. Knowing that would give her the strength to carry on. I never forgot that truism. Now in my adult life I'm into cooking and baking and making jam and jelly. When I do I can see her making strawberry preserves and elderberry pies and so many other labors of love. Boy could she cook. We'd hunt all day and walk into the warm house and smell supper waiting. She is a part of so many of us. Bless you Aunt "Tootsie."

I am sorry for your loss as Catherine was like a Grandma to me while she was married to my Grandfather Bohrk. May peace be with your family. Janice
