Ronald Ferden Obituary

FERDEN-Ronald E. January 29, 1938 - September 28, 2007, after a gallant fight against cancer, has lost his battle. Father to Heather and Derek (CA); brother to Carol (KS) and Barbara (IL); life partner of more than a decade to Susan Ferry and friend to our many pet dogs and cats - his absence will leave a huge void in our lives. Ron's loyalty as a personal companion, his emotional and physical support during the earliest working hours and longest days at A Pawsitive Experience was unwavering. The loss of his presence and companionship - human, canine and feline is irreplaceable. It will also be felt by the many clients and animals he befriended, the rescues he willingly took in to rehome and the birds, rabbits, snakes, turtles and toads he returned to the wild. Many thanks to the clients, friends and dogs who offered support to Ron and me in the last 19 months. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, attention "Teddy's Touch' in the memo, 712 Main Street, Buffalo, NY, 14202. Memorial reception to be held Oct. 12th at A Pawsitive Experience, 6 to 9 pm. RSVP.

Susan

Lee and I are so so sorry about Ron. Please know you are in our thoughts and if there is anything we can do, please call upon us. As time passes, hopefully you will reflect on the wonderful life he had with you and all of the furry kids. The animal world was so fortunate to have him as a friend. You were a wonderful life companion to him and we know he will be watching over you and all of us at Pawsitive.
