McGOWAN-Catherine Of Tonawanda Twp., October 18, 2007, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Browne McGowan; sister of Mary Jane McGowan, Margaret (Robert) McCurdy, Joan (Neal) Donnelly, Patricia (late James) Liddell and the late Rev. Peter McGowan; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME, 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore Sunday 4-8 PM where funeral will be held Monday at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Amelia's RC Church 9 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, NY.

I was sorry to hear of Catherine's passing. I worked with her at M&T Bank for 6 years and enjoyed working with her a great deal. She was a good friend and co-worker; always fair and so eager to help one of us. I loved her humor and our fun times together. I am sure the family will miss her a great deal.
