KARCZEWSKI-Esther (Mlodozeniec) October 22, 2007; beloved wife of the late Alexander F. Karczewski; loving mother of Donna M. Karczewski and the late Alexander H. Karczewski; grandmother of Amanda (Ethan) Reynolds, Alexander A. and the late Christopher J. Karczewski; great-grandmother of Ethan C. Reynolds; sister of Stefania (late Stanley) Jachimiak, the late Edward and Henry Mlodozeniec; sister-in-law of Shirley Mlodozeniec; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2480 Kensington where Prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aloysius Gonzaga R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials to Hospice Buffalo.

Please accept our deepest sympathies. Mrs. Esther is going to be missed so much. Our Family thought of her as a Grandmother. We just loved her. She is one of the best neighbors we could ever have asked for. She will definately be saddly missed by our Family.

To the family of Esther Karczewski
Mrs. Karczewski is remembered fondly by me, as she lived next door when I was a child. In fact, she gave me my first job, hiring me at 50 cents a week to take Alex to and from school. We all went to the same church, shared the same weather and otherwise considered the Karczewski family friends we could count on. I can still hear young Alex pleading "Please 5 more minutes" when called in from play by Mrs. Karczewski. Then too, there were the stand offs as she cajoled Alex into chewing and swallowing his meat. Trust me, this sometimes went on long after Alex had come outside to play after dinner. That whole house full from Cambridge Ave will be missed , as they were good people.
