SUROWIEC-Helen F. (Sushka) November 4, 2007, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved wife of 53 years to Martin J. Surowiec, Sr.; dearest mother of Helene (Marc, MD) Koblick, Gail Surowiec and Martin Jr. (Cindy) Surowiec; dear grandmother of Jackie, Alex, Eric and Reid; also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM and from Resurrection Church at 10 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Helen was an employee for 29 years with the YWCA of Buffalo as a payroll clerk and served on the Board of Directors with the Depew-Cheektowaga Taxpayers Association. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240.
