Geraldine L. Witmer

WITMER-Geraldine L. (Yuhnke) Age 74, of Tonawanda, November 4, 2007 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late George Witmer and Frederick Yuhnke, Jr.; beloved mother of William G. (Liana) Yuhnke, Sharon L. (Jack) Wagner, Frederick D. Yuhnke, III, Walter (Sandy) Witmer, William Witmer, James Witmer and Arline (Robert) Salzman; grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister of Viola DeSalvo, Mary Wheeler, Gertrude Doran, Dolores Wiedwright, Edwin Johnson and the late Margaret Szalay, George Kelly, Alve Cratsenberg, Dorothy Weaver, Carl Cratsenberg and Betty Heintz; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Geraldine had always been a care giver; she had worked for The Episcopal Church Home. She was a member of The Red Hat Club. Friends may call at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. The Rev.
