Memories and Condolences

Carl and I and sisters, Dorothy and Janet (passed away last year), walked the proverbial mile to school every day. A one room school house in Crittenden, Town of Alden, Erie Co., NY. I think we attended first to third grades together but not sure after that because my family moved "up town" across the street from the school in 1940 and Zehrs moved from a large farm two properties south of my grandfather's farm (where my uncle Earl Nehrbosses family and my mother (nee Nehrboss) Bordners family lived to Newfane in 19xx. Carl and I played on their chicken, etc. farm and attended his brother's softball games Never saw Carl since they moved. Maybe my quasi-girl friend Dorothy will email me.

Dear Yvonne, we rejoice that Carl's suffering is now finished, and he is with the Lord. Scripture tells us this is very much better than being here. Your sorrow in separation is tempered with the assurance of reuniting with him in glory.
