Dear Sandy, Bob and Family,
Nancy and I send our heartfelt condolences. It appears that DeWitt lived a long, full and happy life. Those are wonderful memories that no one can ever take from you, and although dad is no longer with you on this earth, rest assured that he has a wonderful place in God's presence. And we shall all walk with the Lord one day. Once again, sorry for your loss and may God Bless.

To the Goodemote family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Dewey’s passing. The family is in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest condolences. Dewey will always be in our hearts and memories. I will miss his sense of humor the most. My fortune is I have his son Al for my Step-Dad, I will always be indebted to Dewey for that gift. Rest in peace Mr. Goodemote.

My deepest sympathies to the Goodemote family. As many know, Dewey was a valued member, Past Chairman, and International Director of SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers). Dewey was always available for Chapter 10, and provided a steady compass to many of us who served the chapter. His humor, ever-present smile, and jokes were the Dewey many knew, but he also was willing to dig-in and get the job done any time, any place. We’re all a composite of the people we have met. Dewey touched many lives, I’ll be forever grateful for having known him.
