Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Ironically our mom passed away at the same time so we understand how you are feeling. We know it's tough but our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Paul, Peter, Linda and Jenny,
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the death of your dad. Pat Hughes called me this afternoon to tell of his passing. She has kept us up-to-date on his health the last couple pf years. We are very old friends of your parents (Dick and Phyllis Haberer) from the Domestic Finance Days. I'm sure your parents have shared some of the wonderful, zany memories we have treasured through the years. Unfortunately, we moved from Buffalo many years ago so we did not get a chance to know you except for occasional pics and updates from your mom. They were wonderful people - we feel so fortunate to have shared part of their life. (Dick just shared a recollection of when he helped your dad deliver the Courier many years ago. He recalls the Volkswagon loaded with papers and the two of them - your dad's tall stature - getting in and out of that teeny weeny car). God bless you all - it would be great if we could meet one day. Love, Phyllis Haberer
