To Jerrod's Family:
There is not much to say during this time of sorrow. I worked with Jerrod at The Boys & Girls Club and he has made an everlasting impression in my heart. What a terrible loss to that community. Jerrod always had the best intrest for the children of his community and it was truly my pleasure to have been a part of his time with the Boys & Girls Clubs. May you allow the love and grace of God to help you heal. You have gained a beautiful angel to watch over you.

My son attends the Boy's & Girl's Club where Jarrod worked. My son looked up to him with great admiration and loved to be in his company. In today's world that says many great things about a person. He has forever made a positive impact in my son's life.
My thoughts & prayers are with your family.

I didn't know Jerrod that well, but I saw him around campus at Bryant & Stratton. He made an impact on me just the week before he passed. He went above and beyond by doing a task for me he didn't have to do. He always presented a pleasant disposition and was an asset to our school, a very polished man. I'm glad I met him and sorry for such a loss. I'll keep his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Jerrod.

After They Are Gone

When someone we love passes away,
we ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal after they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend. The anguish and pain in our hearts;
we need time to remember and time to mourn before the recovery starts.
Let's draw together to recuperate, as we go through this period os sorrow;
Let's help each other, with tender care to find a brighter tomorrow

RIP my brother, you have labored long now it's time to go home.

I worked with Jerrod at Bryant & Stratton College. Jerrod was upbeat and always had a smile on his face. I will miss the daily conversations we had. We take for granted these small pleasures in life, like conversations with good friends. I will miss you Jerrod.

I worked with Jerrod at Bryant & Stratton College. He was a kind and gentle man. Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome (J.Hendrix). May God bless his family and friends. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Death ends a life, not relationship (J.Lemmon).

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I worked with Jerrod at Bryant & Stratton College. It these days we live in it is difficult to work in a large company and be the only believer. Jerrod helped to lift that load. He truly was my brother in the Lord. There were always words of encouragement from him, and when needed, words of correction. It was all receieved in love because he was doing the work of the Lord. I am blessed for having him be in a small portion of my life. He has helped me to grow spiritually. I am praying for his family and loved ones. God Bless!

Moving to Buffalo from the West Coast this summer was lonely and incredibly difficult. I met Jerrod just two months ago; we were coworkers at Bryant & Stratton. In such a short time he became a needed friend and strong shoulder of support. I count on his sweet smile and reassuring presence in this city. My life was fuller and blessed with him in it, and he disappeared from it unthinkingly too soon. Two months of him was not a fraction enough. I miss Jerrod overwhelmingly.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is death of his saints. Lord, truly I am your servant; I am your servant, the son of your maidservant. You have freed me from my chians.
