Joan Marie Borgo, nee Buteau, age 80, of Plainfield, IL, since 1956, at rest Jan. 16, 2011. Born May 12, 1930, in Chicago, IL; the daughter of the late Alexander and Williamina Buteau; beloved wife of 61 years of George; loving mother of Richard Borgo, Robert (Eileen) Borgo, James Borgo and Kathleen (Jesse) Leach; loving grandmother of Chris and Andrew Leach, Jack, Matt, Nick, Lisa and Jessie Borgo and Beth (Josh) Jachna. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 or American Parkinson Disease, 2050 Pfingsten Rd., Suite 127, Glenview, IL 60026. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 15629 S. Rt. 59, Plainfield, IL 60544, with Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Visitation Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 15219 S. Dear George,
I would like to express to you our deepest sympathy on the passing of your wife. As circumstances prevented my wife and I from attending the wake tonight; we were busy taking care of issues health related to her 86 year old dad who lives alone.Once again our sympathies are extended to the entire Borgo family.
