ELIZABETH G. JOCH

Elizabeth G. Joch, 79, of Mt. Prospect, passed away peacefully Sunday Jan. 16, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Born Feb. 17, 1931 in Chicago to Herman and Hermine Joch. She was very proud to be a volunteer at the Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines where she worked many years and many hours. She was a parishioner at St. Raymonds Church and a member of St. Raymonds Woman's Club. There is so much to be said about such an amazing person, but she died how she lived, a joyful kid. She always brought a smile to everyone's face with her jokes and witticisms. She loved all animals especially her dog Tippy. She will be missed by everyone. She is survived by her cousin Dolores (the late Deacon Rudy C. Schoewe); aunt "Betty" to Mary (Faulhaber), Rudy F., Jim, John, Tom, Karen (Keeble), Rich, Annette (Moore), Ed, Lisa (Garcia), Donna and their families. She was a friend to all. Visitation will be Tuesday Jan. 18, 2011 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 West Central Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056. There will be a one hour visitation at 9 a.m. on Wednesday Jan. 19, 2011 at St. Raymonds Church with a Funeral Mass following at 10 a.m. Interment will be Wednesday at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
