William Costello Obituary
William E. Costello, Sr.; beloved husband of the late Frances, nee Bearfield; loving dad of William (the late Pamela and companion, Alice Miller) Costello Jr.; proud grandpa of Susan (fiancé, Mike Baczynski), Robin (Matt) Tangorra, Billy (Laurie Johnson) and Pam Costello, great-grandpa of Samantha, Tabitha, Jesse and Gabriel. A 63 year member of Oak Forest Lodge #832 AF & AM, Medinah Shriners, Scottish Rite, Valley of Chicago, El Hajj #1, and a longtime scoutmaster. Service Friday, 11 a.m. at Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home, 5200 W, 95th St., Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707 would be appreciated. Info. 708-424-0340

My deepest sympathy to the Costello Family in the loss of Bill. We were friends from the time I began working at First Federal of Chicago in 1953. Bill knew my family and we "adopted" him. Even when I moved to Arizona eight years ago, we still exchanged phone calls and cards. He was a wonderful man, an excellent employee, caring, always smiling, helpful, kind, considerate, and loved by everyone. I was deeply sorrowful to hear Bill went to his Eternity but know he's happy and is continuing to make lasting friendships. Bill will be remembered in my thoughts and prayers as he was one of the best I ever met in my lifetime. Again, my condolences.
