I was very saddened to hear that Bette had passed. I will always remember the Wesley Shoppe and cherish that she is now with my grandma watching over us.

Dear Bob and Family,
Since 1947 Bette Mickelson has been for me a sign of inspiration and hope. Bob, you and Bette with Tom and me shared a memorable social evening that made us friends for life. (You laugh as you remember.)
May you receive from her now the special gifts of integrity and great spirit that marked her receiving and giving in her entire life faith, hope, love. Peace

My deepest sympathy & prayers go out to the whole Mickelson Family. Bette was a great lady and she always made me feel like one of the family. She will be greatly missed, but you can all take comfort in the many memories you have of your time with her.
