DONALD CRIEL Obituary
Donald M. Criel, age 91, WW II U.S. Navy Veteran, beloved husband of Genevieve, nee Skrzynski and the late Maureen, nee Nelis; loving father of Don (Cathy), George (Patti) and Dennis; dearest grandfather of Kelli Rendl, Michael (Nikki) Criel, Patti (Paul) Lang, Jeff (Jenny) Criel, Ben (Melanie) Toth, Katie (Kevin) Tiesing; great-grandpa of nine; loving brother of Maurine "Sis" Pasowicz and his devoted caregiver Buddy. Mr. Criel was a member of the American Legion Post #964 Lake Zurich, IL, also a member of Local #150 Operating Engineers for 68 years, employed by the City of Chicago Water Department, member of the Wauconda Sportsman's Club. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral Saturday 8:45 a.m. from The Montclair- Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago 60634 to St. Priscilla Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rainbow Hospice, 444 N. Northwest Hwy. Suite 145 Park Ridge, IL 60068.
