Michael Mikitoff, age 90, of Waukesha, WI, formerly of Brookfield, IL. US Navy Vet of WWII, beloved husband of the late Cecilia J., nee Wielgoszynski; fond father of Michael J. (Mercatrena) Mikitoff and Christine (Alan) Linder; loving grandfather of Jennifer Madonia, Matthew Linder, Erica Olk and Nicholas Mikitoff; great- grandfather of Jacob and Elizabeth Madonia and Alicia Olk; dear brother of Nancy Stasewich, Lillian Mikitoff and Zena Olson. Funeral Friday, June 3, 10:30 a.m. from JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 3847 Prairie Ave., Brookfield to St. Barbara Church, Mass 11 a.m. Interment at Our lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Mike was one of my BEST students in the computer gallery at Avalon Square. He would bring me donuts and say 'a donut for my teacher'. He so reminded me of my dad. He loved his family and appreciated all that was done for him. He would tell me about his Niagra Falls trip and how he collected water in his poncho. AND he had to have his weekly jokes. His favorite was the one about the cannibals eating the clown and one said 'does this taste funny to you?' Yes, I will miss my Mike who is up in heaven smiling down on us.
