So saddened to read of Chris passing. We were in grade school together with Mrs. Pope. Our mom's would see us all out on the playground and out of the blue would spray all the kids with the hose! We had great Moms. Rest in peace.

To Chris's Dear Family & Friends ~
We had the gift of being fellow classmates of Chris's at College Park High, Class of '76!
We all hold such fond memories of Chris as he was always such a great guy! We recall spending the brunch & lunch periods talking with him and shared classes with him.
Chris was alot of fun, very sweet and always friendly & kind.
We're sorry to have lost touch with him over the years and so blessed to read how he only grew to be even more of the great guy he was as a teen, and an incredible Dad to his two precious daughters. We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts, heart & prayers. God's peace & comfort to you.
With Love,

Chris was my friend and I will always be glad that we had a chance to work together. My heart goes out to his "girls" and the rest of his family. When we spoke of family, he was always so very proud of you and your accomplishments! My hope is that time works to help heal the hurt. Please know that we will all remember Chris with fondness. He was a good person and I am only one of a whole group of people who will miss him.

I only knew Chris for a short time, but what I came to know and see in him was an extraordinary person I'd hoped to have in the rest of my life. He was a selfless, giving, loving person and was very devoted to his family. I feel honored to have been blessed to have him in my life although unfortunately only for a short time. I will miss his great positiveness, his infectious smile and his caring way that he shared easily. I'll miss the smiles he brought out in me.
Please accept my sincere heartfelt sympathy to you, his family, for your loss. Chris always spoke so lovingly and happily about you all and felt blessed to have such a great family.
To his daughters who I know he loved endlessly and unconditionally. He bragged about how proud he was of both of you... always. Please take comfort to know he is not gone from you, as he is in everyone's hearts and memories forever and you will carry him with you.
He was a light of life that lit the light in my life. He made me smile from within and am glad I was able to return the same for him. I treasure my short time knowing him and miss him dearly.

Dear Damianakes Family,
We just learned the devastating news about Chris. He has been a good friend to us over the years. We had watched Chris in his valiant conquests of both cancer and his stroke and marveled at his resiliency. Molly spent Game Six of the '86 World Series in his company, a night not to be forgotten by baseball fans of the world which Chris was surely one.
We share in your grief and are thinking of you.

I am extremely saddened by Chris's sudden passing. I have known him since 1980, when I first visited his parents and stayed at their Pleasant Hill home, and through repeated visits after that.
Terrie and Chuck, my thoughts are with you during this dreadful time in the life of a parent. You have around you so many people who love you and support you, your children and grandchildren, and your many friends, who will all try to comfort you. Please, know that I love you very much, and I hope that, through all this ordeal, you will find the strength to go on.
