Cynthia Williams Obituary

SUFFOLK - Cynthia Loretta Williams, 61, of 2525 E. Washington St., Apt. 1301N, Suffolk, passed away Aug. 18, 2008, in Hampton.
She was a native of Nansemond County, and daughter of the late Simon and Maggie Majette Moore.
She attended East Suffolk High School and later received her GED and Nursing Certificate. She was a retired health care worker. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Larry D. Williams Sr.; five daughters, Angel Y. Hicks of Portsmouth, Tracay A. Williams of Hampton, Wanda L. Mills (Matthew F.) of Chesapeake, Crystal F. Williams, and Cynthia L. Williams of Suffolk; two sons, Larry D. Williams Jr. (Vanessa) and Donnell Williams (Phyllis) of Suffolk; two brothers, Earl Moore (Annie Mae) of New York, N.Y., and Andrew Harveal of Suffolk; 11 grandchildren, James E. Hicks Jr., Jameka E. Hicks, De Andre L. Williams, Johnathan F. Hicks, Andrew R. Williams, Sherman L. Johnson Jr., Annette E. Johnson, Tyler J. Williams, Tory T. Cheatam Jr., Jessica O. Williams, and MaKayla L. Williams; one soon to be born great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses by Bro. Solomon Darden. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will be at 118 Raleigh Ave., Suffolk.
