CHARLES SHAW
Charles Domsky always knew that art was the door to the depth of his self-expression. He won 2 scholarships to Philadel-phia College of Art, where he graduated in 1959. The rigors of business prevented him from more actively pursing his real dream…art. That all changed when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Refusing to picture walls closing in on him, he painted an escape door and exploded through it into the next stage of his life; a stage where he would devote all of his time and energy to his artwork.
Charles submitted works to "All About Art" at Moss Rehab for several years and his artwork is in public and corporate collections. Numerous pieces have been acquired by Deloitte, a major international account-ing and consulting firm, Moss Rehab Hospital and Princeton University Medical Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Services Friday, 2:30 P.M., at GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St., Phila. PA. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

I was talking to my mother, Libby Zinman Schwartz about the Domsky's this week and did a search and found this posting. I'm so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing and only remember him and your family when I was child visiting your home in center city a number of times in the 70s.
It's almost a year since his passing now. I hope your family has found peace. Leave a stone from us.

Charles was a vibrant and talented artist with a twinkle in his eyes and a passion for self expression through art as well as a devoted, loving husband to Ellie, his lovely wife. Charles and Ellie shared their enchanting apartment as hosts to our Early Onset Parkinson's Group on several occasions. He also delighted group members with open studio events where his work was displayed and served as examples for those of us who needed a creative outlet.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Ellie and her family and regret that we are in Florida and unable to attend the memorial service.
A contribution will be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in Charles's memory.

Ellie, Sorry to read of the passing of Charlie. He was always a pleasure to see and I still remember you both sending wine to my table years ago. so sorry for the news about charlie,he had suffered too long, Marvin and I remember the good times when he was one of our first arts and crafts counselors in the 50's at Willow Grove Day camp.
