Not getting much easier, I still miss you like crazy. I think of you all the time and I really miss our time together, just sitting talking doing crafts and getting happy hour @ Sonic. Am I bad, sometimes getting you a "Real Coke" but I would get you a unsweetened tea with lemon on occasion. I love and miss you

Aunt Shirley always would have my sister & I over staying the night or two!! She is also the reason why I love doing crafts & things along that nature!
She always had a smile & flashing her dimple, & always knew how to make you smile or laugh!! She was a 2nd mom to everybody.
She loved her family unconditionally & would do anything in the world for us!!
AUNT SHIRLEY I KNOW YOUR IN A FAR BETTER PLACE NOW & I KNOW YOU ARE UP THERE WITH MY DADDY CUTTIN UP JOKING AROUND LIKE Y'ALL WOULD DO DOWN HERE ON EARTH...YOU FINALLY GOT TO GO HOME TO JESUS LIKE YOU SAID YOU WANTED TO DO
I LOVE YOU AUNT SHIRLEY & THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE THROUGH OUT MY LIFE

“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” Mrs. Shirley was considered family to us, a second mother. She was one of the most generous, selfless and loving people we have ever know. She exemplified pure love and genuine goodwill. The world was made better because of her presence and kindness. Mrs. Shirley has been an angel long before taking her place in heaven. You will always be loved and remembered.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Harkness family, close relatives, and especially to her three children who have lost their best friend. We were cousins and spent many happy days together. Shirley has always been a beautiful angel and is now a bright light in heaven.
