In the book of Human Life, Palo will have a long chapter; because his life was filled by fond memories, by so many people. He was a throwback to an age in Americana, where an independent businessman made a living by taking stock in a community, resulting in the stability of a neighborhood. He was a straightforward character who could be described best by a creative novelist, keeping readers interested in the words that he said and the actions he displayed. He was an anchor to his family, and his extended family, as well. When Palo meets with St. Peter, his merits will be judged by all those who say that they were better off by having been a part of his life story.
