Susan Morley Obituary

Susan Lee Morley was born on April 23rd, 1947 in Bell, California and died on June 10th, 2003 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She lived her life her own way. All who knew her were individually touched in some fashion. Her passions were reading, people, yoga and teaching. She loved to have her family around and cherished her circle of friends wide and far. Her travels took her to Europe and the Middle East, but she loved France the best. She left her acquaintances, co-workers, friends and family too soon and while she was in the prime of her life. She is missed by her husband, John Stein, MD, her son, Eric Morley, her father, Billy Haynes and her sister, Florrie Camasto. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 13th at 3pm at the Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. No flowers please. Donations can be sent to: Scottsdale HealthCare Foundation, 10001 North 92nd Street, Scottsdale, Arizona 85258 in memory of Susan.

We have lost a wonderful educator in Susan Morley. Andrew was blessed to have Susan as his reading and language teacher for both 7th and 8th grades...(her room is freeeeezing, mom!) I remember her taking time to return every call and email-she did these things because she cared. Having met John on the field trip to Bucca di Beppo was a special treat - I could feel that they have a special love. We will always be grateful for Ms. Morley : a special teacher, and friend.

To the family of Susan:

I am saddend by Susan's passing. We hung out together at yoga and found we had a lot in common.

I occasionally brought her Rose Geraniums so she could put them in her classroom to "freshen the air". It was a private joke!

Her lovely energy remains in my heart. What a blessing for me to have known her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Love & Light,
