Perry Marshall Obituary
Ann Smith Marshall
Perry, 41, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Hospital on Monday, April 2, 2012. She was born November 2, 1970 in Atlanta, GA and moved to Savannah, GA when she was 8. She attended Savannah Country Day School and the Madeira School in McClean, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Georgia.
Perry was a past member of the Junior League of Atlanta and a member of Christ Church in Charlotte, where she taught Sunday School. She was also a Board Member of Christ Church Kindergarten and was active on numerous committees.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Christopher Auld Marshall; daughter, Anderson McClain (7), son, Hanan Smith (6), daughter, Bennett Baird (3); her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Lee Traver and Mr. and Mrs. Barrett Benjamin Smith; brother, Stewart Wigton Traver; sister, Dorothy Traver Walker as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Christ Church. The family will receive friends following the service in The Blue Room. A memorial service will also be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Savannah, GA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Christ Church or the charity of one's choice. Perry was a high school classmate of mine at the Madeira School. I will never forget her kindness, enthusiasm for life, and her bright beautiful smile.
