Dear Tracy Jr., Marilyn, Janet and Barbara...After all of these years you probably do not remember us. We were saddened to learn of your Dad's passing.
My family, the Carter family, (Mama and Daddy, Douglass & Minnie Mae, and the kids, Kathy (me),Holman, Leslie and Douglas, visited, played and had some good times together with you all. We also attended Peoples.
After I moved to Virginia, I actually ran into your parents in Norfolk,VA, where I was living at the time.
My mother passed in 2008. Daddy now lives with me and my husband in Hampton Virginia. He will be 90 in August.
Just wanted to share a few words. Our best to you and your families.

Tracy Jr - Marilyn - Janet - Barbara ...
...your father was one of my father's very best friends (and of my Uncle Lorenzo Wallace in Atlanta)...they'd all known one another for approx 70yrs (ever since their days at Morehouse), and as you know, our families have been intimately acquainted for decades (when I broke the news of your father's death to my father the other evening, he began to relate stories of everything from "The Prospectors" investment club to purchasing clothes from your dad at "Cottrell's")...my late mother even knew your dad & his family when they were all growing up in the same neighborhood in Atlanta (what stories!)...of the two couples (your parents & mine), my father is now the only one surviving...fortunately Tracy Sr was able to pay my father a visit not too long ago before your dad's health deteriorated further...my father greatly enjoyed that visit, & I was just recently attempting to arrange an additional visit between the two of them...of course, our condolences to you all at this challenging time.
