Espinosa Family,

My sincere condolences for your loss. Mike was my Godfather and I only met him a few times when I was a young girl. Knowing that he cared enough to pray and watch over me means a lot to me.

Again, my deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Uncle Mike you were one of a kind. I have seen you bring a roomful of family in laughter to the point of tears. I have also seen you make my son "AJ", as you always called him, fall to the ground with laughter at one of your well timed jokes. I will never forget how you would tell me that you loved me everytime I saw you! Gonna miss you something terrible.

Prayers for - Mike Espinosa - a dear friend to many of us who grew up in the Northside Barrio since the mid 1940's and his Family.

Mike and I attended Kindergarden together and grew up playing Baseball through our High School years and in the Summer League - "Los Morelos" - Southside Team. We had a close and continued brotherly friendship to the present.

We met at least twice weekly for breakfast or lunch and would hang out visiting other friends as we reminisced about our Barrio and School days growing up.

Mike joined us various times in Our Upper Room Prayer Group meetings.

May Our Lord Bless Mike and forgive and keep him in his Glory. May He Rest In Peace - Amen.

Uncle Mike, Cowboy games will not be the same without you and your in-depth analysis of "Marcus Deware" and other players that you critique in your own special way! I truely feel blessed to have known the man who taught me how to make a serious, somber situation one of laughter and joy! But right now, it is real hard to do! I want to hear you laugh! I want to sit down and watch a game with you! I want to hear you tell me a joke! Even if they were always the same ones! I want you to tell me one, just one more time! I love you Uncle Mike!
