During the evening of October 30th, I learned that Doud had passed. With that sad news came a host of wonderful memories. Doug had been married to my cousin, and each and every occassion I had the occassion and opportunity to visit with me, he always greeted and treated me with sincere warmth and an unparalled degree of hospitality. I could always count on a firm handshake and a genuine feeling of "welcome, glad to see you" from Doug whenever we would meet. His infectious laugh and always prevalent smile are but a few of the many and wonderful memories I have of him. Ray Kauer, Saginaw, MI

I was just telling my kids stories about "Dougie Cass* the catcher on our summer baseball team, about his big swimming pool that exploded during a whirlpool. He was a good childhood friend from our neighborhood group. He still lives in my memories. Sorry to hear about your loss.
