He is survived by his mother Gail Van Fossen of Mantua, his father William J. Van Fossen Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL, and a brother: John (Katie) Van Fossen of DE. Cremation will be private. Hi son, Happy Birthday. You would have been 50 years old today. I can't believe time has passed so fast. I miss you terribly. I know you hear me tell you everyday how much I love you and wish you were here with us. My heart is healing little by little. I still have rough days that make it hard to get out of bed, but I know I have to make an effort. I love you and miss you with all my heart

Hi Billy...Eleven years...that you have left us. You are so missed. Your parents and brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, Billy you were part of this family unit and it is like a piece of the puzzle is missing. You could still see what the puzzle is, but just not as clear..that piece is missing..and is missed. We love you and miss you...your Aunt Kathy...and I speak for you Dad...he misses you too.

I want to Remember Billy on the 10th Anniversary of his passing. He is missed so much, 10 years seems like yesterday He was such a loss to the family. I was not around him as much as I would have liked, distance kept us apart. But with like all of my nieces and nephews just knowing they were safe and enjoying life made me feel good. 10 years ago today was the last time I heard your voice. We spoke on the phone and you told me you loved me. I said, I love you too Bill. Never thinking, that I will never hear your voice again. My heart still breaks every day. I feel I'll never be the same without you. I laugh and smile, but deep down I'm broken.
The pain is so strong sometimes, I don't want to get out of bed. I'd give anything just to hear your voice one more time. What's crazy is sometimes I feel like your near me. One day son I'll be with you. I love and miss

I'm sorry It's been so long since I last wrote. Another New Years without you and I still miss you so much.
We went to John and Katie's today and had a real nice time. I wish you were here to see your nephew Luke, he's so smart and funny you would just enjoy being around him so much.
Your dad was visiting John and Katie a couple of weeks ago, he looks real good like he's taking care of himself.
I miss you so much my baby, I need to do this more often. I miss seeing you at work, I think that is some of my hardest times, because I was so used to seeing you 5 days a week most of the time.

It's been too long since I've been on here. Thanksgiving came and went and I miss having you over to help deep fry the turkey and stand in the rain with me. It rained again for a little which I think was your little joke. We had your little nephew baptised on Sunday. Would have been an honor to name you the Godfather but I know you will be the watcher and protector from above. I really wish we had more time together. I would have loved to see you with Luke. I'll try to not be a strange and write you more often. I love you big brother!!!

Mothers day has come and gone, it was such a difficult day in my heart, but being with John,Katie,Sue and Michael made it a little easier. I couldn't stop thinking of not having you with us. Bill, you're going to be an uncle. He's due around your birthday so you know I'm hoping he will be born on what would've been your 40th birthday. He's going to share your middle name which make me so happy. John and Katie are going to make great parents.I wish you were here so you could spoil him as much as Sue and I will. We'll make sure he'll know what a wonderful uncle you would have been. I miss you Bill,and the friday night talks we use to have. I still wait for the phone to ring so we could laugh, cry or just be silly talking about old times. Bill lives in Florida and does not have computer access and he did not have addresses to mail a note.

my condolences to the van fossen family, i was just notified about the passing of billy this evening by john. i am speechless and it was the last thing i expected to hear from anyone. bill and i lost contact with each other years ago but i never forgot about him. i tried to find him but was unsuccessful. billy, john, mrs. v and mr.v were my extended family in so many ways back in philly, i remeber how we would spend christmas eve together and almost every day playing tennis..... i will never forget the love and good times we all shared together...we truly have lost an amazing person in our lives. my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.....steve pascal , cape may, nj.

Sorry to see his time cut so short. I will miss him even though we lost contact. Seemed like just yesterday he was wanted us to go play downstairs or play ball or even just watch a good movie...but if the Phillies were playing all bets off you'd find him parked in front of the tube....

Uncle Bill,Aunt Gail and John..Our family has not had anything eazy. We seen to have to deal with the worst situations while others go through a so called normal life. Things happen in order of age for others and our family's order is all out of order. I will forever cherish all of the memories I had with Billy in the last 35 years. As John was telling me- lets honor Billy by staying close with each other in our family.This is what life is all about and I know for sure little Billy is in great company upstairs.I know that!!
