It is hard to believe that you left us a little over a year ago. There isn't a day that doesn't go by without me thinking of you. I know that you are watching over all of us, that was the type of person you were. Your heart was big and you always thought of others. You were the adventurous one of the family and now you are on your own adventure in heaven. You once told me that someone told you that in your next life you were going to be a princess but in this life now you are our princess in heaven. Continue to watch over us and we will continue to cherish your memories. Love you and miss you every single day. Until we meet again.

Dear Big Mama...the time has pasted and its almost a year that you were taken away from us. I can't seem to understand why the good ones are always taken too soon!! I see you in my dreams and we talk like its yesterday when you were here...you still have that wonderful smile, great advice and crazy sense of humor..but when I wake up you are not here. I show Goobie your picture so he can remember you always..and as he gets older I will share with him our wonderful memories. I wish you were here and I miss you dearly. There are angels on this earth who care for us and guide us.
You can feel their love and gentleness as they walk through life beside us.
They do great things for us every day, they whisper in our ears, they even hold us in their hearts when we are filled with all our fears.
They are always there to give us a hug and try to make us smile. They treat us with respect and love, they treat us like their child.
God blessed me with an Angel, I'm proud to call my own.
She's been with me throughout my life, been with me as I've grown.
She guided me the best she could, she taught me like no other, and I'm thankful I'm the lucky one, who gets to call her Mother.
Although it has been 6 months I miss you so much everyday!

Even though I never had the oppertunity to actually meet you i feel like i knew you. I was supposed to go out with you n your sisters n Alex but i wasn't wearing dress shoes so i wasn't aloud into the club lol. Everyone spoke of you as such a great, fun-loving, outgoing, down-to-earth person. I can only wish to have spent just one day with the family and having you there. The one that went first, then would enthusiastically say “you gotta come and see this”, and rejoice at what you had already discovered and shared. For some reason or another I could not always share in your adventures but you would always give me detailed descriptions in your attempt to lure me there.
I will always admire your adventurous spirit, the long descriptions of your travels and how you wished we were there with you.
You have gone to the ultimate adventure/destination and I’m certain you can’t wait to meet us there as well.

A couple of days ago I a dream with Sonia, it was so real my youngest daughter and my husband were sitting at the table, all of a sudden I pick up the phone to call someone and Sonia came on the phone. I said; "Sonia is that you she answers yeah, I said girl how you been. She says I've been kind of sick but Iam feeling better. I told her I wanted to spent time with you it's been a long time. She said yeah, I've been busy. then I started talking about what happen in Japan and and in Honolulu and she said I know I was supposed to move to Hawaii, then she said;" I can see everything from where I am. I told her we need to get together. and her answer was when it snows you will be with me. Now in a prophetic interpretation means God confirmed she is now in the heavenly places and the snow is the grace of God. Sonia I always knew you were a special person and your wonderful charisma said it all. May the light of Jesus continue to shine upon you and until we meet again.

There are times in the day where I can't believe that you are gone...You were always so good to me..always made me feel good and that I was part of the family. There is never a minute of the day that I'm not thinking about you. I remember all the times we laughed and had our little talks. I'm so happy that we were able to spend our special time together.
We all miss you dearly and our hearts ache but we know that you are watching over us as you did in life.
I know that we will meet in heaven, but in the meantime I will continue to cherish my memories of our time together. I will look at the videos and pictures and remember how beautiful you always were and how beautiful your heart was. You were never selfish and thought of others before yourself. Everyone that knew you loved you for who you were.

To my dear new found family of my cousin Sonia Lopez. I send my deepest & sincere condolences. I didn’t have the honor or the pleasure to have met my cousin personally, though it was through the interest of Sonia and my brother Raul Cruz Delgado whose love for family found each other. I only had the privilege to chat online with her, she demonstrated her love for her family regardless if we never met, so I can't imagine the love she offered & had for all her close family and friends. She will forever be in my heart & never forgotten. I also want to say it was nice to have met all of you, but I’m sad it had to be like this. but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

To the entire family of Sonia Lopez,
I did not have the pleasure in knowing Sonia but I am great friends with her daughter Mimi & have to say that she did a great job in raising her children because my dear friend Mimi is an amazing, strong person. I know that she gets her shine from her mother. I want to offer my deepest and sincerest condolences to the entire family and pray that you all look to the Lord for comfort because in the word it says that God seeks desparate souls. In times of sorrow we are in need of God. I will keep you all in my prayers & may the Lord always have her in his embrace.

In the presence of Sonia we turn to faith, prayer & each other. During this time of sorrow it is through our prayers & faith that we receive the necessary grace & consoling assurances of our Catholic beliefs. May we call upon our Lord of Mercy, support of family & friends to provide an opportunity for us to recall the memories of Sonia. Through Our Rosary & litnies, help us to reflect upon the Paschal Mystery & lead us to a greater sense of hope at this time of grief.
During Sonia's service, commendation, & committal at the graveside, may we all celebrate her life, lift her up to eternal life & cherish the time with us as she was a solider though confirmation in faith with us all.
Hector & family: My sorrow & condolences go out to you all for your loss. May God's grace & mercy during this difficult period live in your hearts, receive His blessings & find continuing comfort in her memories for all your friends & family.
