Correction - "stick-in-the-mudd"
Patricia C. Wilson
October 9, 2012
When I came to work at the Archives in 1977, Sarah Ann was already a longtime employee and one of the first ones that I met. She was always kind to me and we talked. She told me, "I'm like a duck, I love to walk in the rain". Whenever it rained, she was dressed for the occasion (raincoat, hat, galoshes) and would walk slowly in the rain.
My condolences to all who knew and loved "stick-in-mudd", the sweet nickname that she said her mother gave her.
