Not sure what to say?

I still work downtown and my step-son works in Key Tower. I think of Ted when I drive or walk past the old Huntington Building, when I have lunch with my step-son at Key Tower. Also, whenever I go past the Old Stone Church, where we all had to say our final goodbyes to his earthly body. I'm grateful for the few short years that I worked for him as well as for the years of friendship afterward. My husband finally has a Corvette... wish Ted were here to see it!

My memories of Ted are as vivid today as they were when they were made. I can hear his laugh and see the twinkle in his eyes. He was a very special man and I still miss him.

Now 11 years since Ted's passing, I still have so many memories of happy and fun times, and I still often tell Ted stories and think WWTD (what would Ted do?). His influence is still present in my life. I learned so very much from him, and still miss him.

Just thought I would come back and make a correction to my previous entry.

In my previous entry, I used the term, "Silent Kid." That was supposed to be "Silent Key." As in Morse Code key.

My apologies to Ted's wife and Family.

73,

To you all, he was Ted Huddle. To me, he was W4CID and he had the biggest signal on 3.875. I just enjoyed listening to him.

Another Big iron operator gone, another silent kid.

Rest in Peace OM.

Donna, I was very sad to hear this news. I recall fondly the fun we had in those early days at Mead/Lexis. I recall the parties at your house and things like Ted (and you) showing up at the hospital the night of my plane crash. Ted had a big influence on my early career and appreciate that. You will be in out thoughts and prayers.

November 16, 2010

Donna - I'm so sorry to hear this, I just found out today. Ted was so instrumental in my success at AT&T when he was at Arter & Hadden and he was one of the key reasons that the Cleveland Indians ultimately hired me. I viewed him as a business mentor and a good friend. Our lunches, usually at House of Blues, were always a high point for me and a good way to stay in touch with him. He will be greatly missed. - Bryan Hoffart (Mentor, OH)

Donna,

I still remember the first day I met Ted at Key Bank. He brought in a straight-forward and candid management style that proved to be quite valuable to the bank. The best move Bob Meltzer made at Key was bringing in Ted.

I pray you find peace in the coming days.

To Donna Huddle and Family: I just wish to add my sympathies to you and the family. I will always remember Ted as a great friend and an associate at the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. He brought fond memories back to all of us at the Pops through the many, many photos he took at our concerts and events. His perspective on the orchestra was always sharply focused. His advice on marketing the Pops was always "right on." Ted was a real treasure and will always live in our hearts.

To Huddle Family and Friends,

Please know that you are in our prayers. We recently experienced a loss of a dear loved one related to cancer. We understand. Please know that our family is praying for you. May God draw you closer together and closer to Him. May He bring people to uplift you and encourage you and may you be a support to one another.

And, please allow yourself the time you need to grieve. Grieving is part of God's plan. It provides cleansing to the soul and is necessary for the healing process.

Precious memories is also part of God's design. Enjoy remembering the wonderful times you shared together with Ted. It is soothing to the soul and allows us to keep our loved ones close to our hearts while here on earth and until we are re-united together in heaven with Christ.

God Bless,

Pam Dawson
