Carol L. Galloway, 69, of La Porte, Ind., passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born July 2, 1942, in Saginaw, to Judson and Margaret (Emery) Vanderlip and lived in the La Porte area since 1980, coming from Midland. Carol was a 1960 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. On June 20, 1964, she married Kenneth M. Galloway in Saginaw.
Carol leaves behind two daughters, Kristina M. Galloway and Carolyn A. (Gregory) Perra both of La Porte; three grandchildren, Emma, Nicholas and Alexandria Perra; sister, Linda (Ron) Gwilt of Mackinaw City; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
Funeral services will be held at La Porte Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

Carol, we are so sorry that you died, so happy that you lived, and that we have been able to be a part of your life for more than 40 years. Your cottage and your sister's home have always been a gathering place for your family and friends. We are sure that in love and remembrance of Carol and good times it will continue to be that gathering place.
