Palmer Strawser Obituary
He was a retired owner of Strawser's Towing, Enola.
Jerry loved dirt track racing.
Surviving are: His wife: Shirley D. Strawser. Three daughters: Tina L. Bowers, of West Fairview; Teresa K. Stoner, of Enola; Kandi L. Lopp, of Enola; two sons: Gerry Strawser, of Enola; James D. Strawser, of New Cumberland; two sisters: Grace Metz, of Loysville; Bonita Rodgers, of Loysville; two brothers: Leroy Chubb, Jr., of Elliottsburg; Michael Chubb, of Landisburg. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 10, 2012 in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, with Rev. Robert R. Yankovitz officiating.
Viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.

I sure so miss him. I will always remember complaining when he came to the garage that he would keep us there all day just chatting! Strawser Family...
I am so sorry to hear of Pop's passing. I have so many good memories of him. One of my favorites is when I had to bake extra pumpkin pies to take down to the shop so the "boys" didn't eat it all before he got some! And I'll always remember those phone calls to "meet at the diner for a cup"...usually turned into an all-nighter! My thoughts & prayers are with all of you. May you find comfort in your cherished memories & knowing he is at peace. RIP Pop...you impacted my life more than you'll ever know!

Whether its out all night at the races and then breakfast at the summerdale diner or gambling all night at the horse track and then breakfast at the truck stop, they will never slip my mind.
