IRENE M. MATURI

MATURI, IRENE M. 60 - of Egg Harbor Township, passed away October 6, 2011 at home surrounded by her family after a brave battle with cancer. Irene was born in Havana, Cuba and lived in Bethesda, Maryland after moving to the United States. She has been a resident of EHT for over 30 years. She was employed by Reilly Matthews Bononcini CPA firm in Linwood. Irene's passions in life were her family, photographs and crafting. Because of her devotion to the ones she loved and her kind, gentle spirit, she created love wherever she went. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 36 years David; her daughter, Briana Maturi, of Los Angeles; her son and daughter-in-law Philip and Lindsay Maturi, of EHT; her granddaughter Kayla Webb, of EHT; her mother, Irene Castellanos, of Rockville, MD; her brother, Victor Macia, and sister, Carolina Macia, of Montgomery County, MD; and her mother-in-law, Josephine Maturi, of Yonkers, NY; as well as many devoted extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, on Sunday, October 9th, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road, in Northfield and from 10:00am to 11:00am, on Monday, October 10th, at St. Joseph's Church, 660 Shore Road, in Somers Point. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's memory can be made to the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer & Heart Fund.
