I was so sad to hear of the passing of Carol, she was going to talk Portuguese to my son when he got home from his mission.... Carol has been around my whole life, I use to hang out with her when I was little and then recently every time I was in town. I love her so much and I'm going to miss her so much. Thanks for the wonderful example you have always set for me. Carol was always thinking of and helping everyone. Whenever you were around her, you knew she loved you and wanted to know what was going on in your life. She is going to be greatly missed but how wonderful it is to know we will see her again one day and that she is now happy and out of pain. LOVE YOU THE MOST!!!! Klaudia Johnson Twitchell

Paul, Scott, Ryan, Fred & JIm,
I had planned to attend the services today but life got in the way. Carol is a charitable spirit, always upbeat and serving loved ones. What a great reunion she is having with Carlie, two wonderful people who we were blessed to have in our lives.

Aunt Carol was my inspiration and role model. She was one of the greatest ladies to live on this earth. I will always remember her and the influence she had in my life to be a nurse, a wife and a mother. Her great sense of knowing and anticipating the needs of others can never be matched by anyone else. I will miss her and look forward to the day when I can be with her again.

I loved Carol Wheeler Brumfield. We were companions on two occasions as we served in the Brazilian Mission. Carol was so committed to her mission, the Brazilian people and her Church. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She had the ability to combine a strong work ethic with compassion and good humor. Her understanding of the Portuguese language was amazing and enabled her to serve and reach the Brazilian people in a warm and sincere way. People were drawn to her and gained much from their associations with her. She was a remarkable woman. I loved her dearly. My sincere sympathy to all family members.

Sweet Aunt Carol,
Thank you for all your kindnesses to my family and to me over the years. Thank you for your constant supply of Diet Coke and cold Snickers Bars. It was always a treat to stop by your little home for a visit because we felt so welcomed and loved. We love you and miss you.

I had the immense pleasure of living across the street from Carol for the past several years. She was the best neighbor! When I would least expect it, she would knock on my door with something she had just baked--she was so thoughtful and helpful. Over the years, she became a dear friend--what a warm, loving, fascinating person she was. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor and was just a delightful person in every way. Sherman Avenue will not be the same without her.

I was Carol's room mate part of the time we were at BYU, and also I lived at her parents home on summer we were in Salt Lake. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss knowing she is not here. I visited her two summer ago in her home in Salt Lake and saw all the improvements that had been made. I know how much she loved her brothers and her sons and all the family members. She was so proud of all of you and expressed this more than once to me.She was a great nurse, she loved to teach anyone she could of everything in sports to making money to loving grand kids.II will certainly miss her, the class will miss her. She had a great sense of humor that got us through difficult times. She loved the Savior and demonstrated His qualities many times. I loved her and will always love her. You come from good hard working people as I'm sure you know. My deepest sympathy, and love, Evelyn Falslev Larsen and her husband Larry J. Larsen
