Christopher, my family and God's family are with you in your hour of need. Mom's are the most special people that any boy can have, bar none. Memories are always there for us to remember why we are who we are. Mom's made us, that's why.

To the Kitt Family:
Words are at a loss in times such as this. There are so many wonderful things that I could say about my friend, but I am sure you know just how wonderful she was. I was a Supervisor at VCCW and had the pleasure of working with Flora for years. It is not too often when you can work closely with someone and never have tension or stress. I am proud to say that Flora was indeed a special person. Our friendship grew stronger and stronger over the years. My heart misses my friend. I loved her and will truly miss her presence. Family, I extend my deepest condolences to each of you. Stay close, trust God and keep memories of your mom alive. Peace Be With You!!

I will always remember how special I felt because of every smile, hug and kind word that your mom shared with me as a lost little girl. She was trully a blessing. And while we do sorrow for what we have lost we greatly rejoice in all she has gained.
My deepest love and heartfelt prayers go out for your entire family. I miss you all very much.

To the Family of the Late Mrs. Flora Kitt:
In times such as this comforting words are hard to find. Everyday we must rely on our Lord to get through each and every trial. It is my prayer that you give Him all of your cares and that you continue to trust Him. I am sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother, sister, friend and all the many hats she wore. She left a legacy for you to go on and to do the work that she had put before you. Allow God to guide you all the way. I know your hearts feel sorrow now, but as the Word promises "joy will come in the morning". When? Only God knows, but put your hand in His hand and He will ease your pain one day. Be strong!

To the Kitt Family:
My heart is sadden in the loss of your love one. She was very dear to me so I can only imagine how heavy your hearts must be. Flora was a dear friend of mine. We worked together for many years at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women. Her love and kindness was one of the positive experiences in working there. She allowed God to use her to brighten others days. I loved her and will always miss her. Please know that your entire family is in my prayers. May God continue to Bless each of you.
