Jason Sledd

SLEDD, Jason Robert, 29, of Midlothian, Va., passed away peacefully in his sleep May 13, 2011. Jason was born in Roanoke. He had a special talent of painting and loved doing it. Jason had a very loving and caring nature about him. He was close to everyone that he knew and loved. Jason was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Cloyd "Bud" and Flossie "Pee Pee" Pearcy and Robert and Gladys Gibson. Surviving are his mother, Tina G. Mull; his father and stepmother, Craig A. Sledd and Tina B. Sledd; his two sisters, Chelsea S. Winters and her husband, Andrew, Savannah Holshouser; and his brother, Steven Sledd; his two children whom he loved very much, Kaleb and Leah; his grandfather and grandmother, who were very special in his life, Robert and Wanda Gibson; his aunt and uncle, Lisa and Bryan Whitley; three cousins, Zachary and Erika Whitley and Vincent Thompson; and great-aunt and uncle, Cinda and Gordon Crawford. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Oakey's East Chapel from 3 to 5 p.m. and a graveside service will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
