William Richmond Obituary

RICHMOND Today friends and family will celebrate the life of William "Bill" Richmond. Bill passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 28, 2010. His life included service to the Jacksonville community as a local pharmacist, a beautiful long marriage to his wife Maxine, and his greatest joy in life....his daughter Rebekah married to Erez Sternberg. His life was filled with many good times along side close friends and family ... and their lives were blessed by Bill's great humor, sarcastic wit, zest for life, and sincere love. Bill Richmond will be very missed. Our lives have been made fuller because of him, and our memories and love for him will be everlasting. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (Today), November 29th in Evergreen Cemetery. I have only pleasant memories of Bill. He will always be in our hearts. One of my fondest memories of Bill was his collection of Time Magazine covers and getting the person pictured to actually autograph it. That was amazing. Regards, Howard Schemer

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I have great memories of our visits, thanksgiving, etc. He welcomed me always, and showed us all to laugh, cry, and have thought. Just like Jimmy V - if you do those 3 things you lived. Bill lived!

Maxine, Rebekah and Erez- We share your deep sorrow as Bill left this life to share his good humor and kind heart with others in heaven.
His trademark mischievous nature was always expressed with warmth and wit, his love for his family and friends sincere and without limits, his long struggle and suffering bravely endured to enjoy and share in Rebekah's many achievements.
Our lives were enriched by his friendship.
