My dad, Jack Fyfe, enjoyed addressing Jim as "Jim-Bo" and their friendship has been a long and special one. The two families have so many connections and memories: living on Walsh Road, township leadership positions and activities, and going to the same church, to name a few. Jim and the Fyfe daughters all shared an affection for MSU. That affection was NOT shared with Jack, a U of M graduate. Jim was a regular player in the Wednesday afternoon cribbage games. His smile and easy conversations are missed. Prayers for peace for Pat and the rest of her family.

My all-time favorite uncle! I have such wonderful memories of our family summer get-togethers in Michigan and Pennsylvania…camping at some lake, and of course, the farm. I will remember the wonderful twinkle in his eyes and laughing smile. My thoughts are with you, Aunt Pat, Jimmy, Mike and Susie.

Many of my finest memories are from my summer vacations at Uncle Jim and Aunt Pat's house. Uncle Jim, Aunt Pat and my cousins were shining examples of how to conduct myself as I made my way through adolescence. Uncle Jim surely fits the term "Great Man"
