James Heinze Obituary

Heinze, James Lee
James Lee (Jimmy) Heinze, 78, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away on February 25, 2014 peacefully, surrounded by family. James was born in Anaheim, California on October 21, 1935 second son of Edward and Dorothy Heinze and brother Dick Heinze. James was married to Leta Mae Heinze on August 4, 1967; they were married 45 years before her death in 2013. After high school, James enlisted in the U. S. Navy serving in the Engine Room. After the military James spent 30 years with General Motors in Anaheim. James is survived by his brother Dick Heinze, five children James Louis Heinze, David Wayne Heinze, Monnie Christopher Smith, Margaret Lorraine Stevens and Paul John Walters; 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his wife Leta Mae Heinze. Parents, Edward and Dorothy Heinze; sons Richard Allen Heinze, Gregory Kevin Smith; and grandson Jason Aaron Stevens. Visitation will held at 12:30PM, Funeral service at 1:00PM and Committal service at 2:00PM located at Sunland Mortuary Friday, February 28, 2014. Pastor Peter Deleon will be officiating. The family of James Heinze wishes to thank the nurses and doctors serving Banner Grandview Terrace Hospice for their incredible care and compassion.
