When I joined the Arlington school system in the 5th grade at the Cutter School, Mary sat at the desk next to mine. She was my role model for everything Idid. Today, whenpeople compliment my penmanship, I tell them I tried to copythe way Mary Hefron wrote. If you followed Mary, you couldn't go wrong! She had the place of honor at our table at last year's class reunion lunch, exactly where she belonged. Heartfelt wishes to her family from those of us who loved and respected her from the time when all of us were kids.

I am sorry to hear of Mary's passing.
I last saw her at our 60th high school reunion; Arlington
High. She was Secretary of our class.
Mary always had a smile on her face; a very nice person.
Sincerely,

We are saddened by your loss, Auntie Sis was quite a lady and will be missed by all who knew her. We always smiled when Mary shared her "Auntie Sis stories". You are all in my prayers. In sympathy, Sarah
