While I had no prior knowledge of the late Mr. McCarter, I was drawn to his obituary in the Tampa Bay Times. I was impressed and amazed by this gentleman's fascinating career, his many unusual accomplishments, and the extraordinary life he was able to live in just 52 years. The only word that seems to capture his persona is "remarkable." I can only imagine what an experience it must have been to have known him.
