I unfortunately had to leave Jerry's organization several years ago, but all that I learned from him has stayed with me. He had quite an influence on my business and me as a person. Nobody could take over a room with an awesome presence like Jerry. He always made me smile. You left this world a better place. God Bless Jerry and his family.

I'll miss the phone calls because your car broke down & you needed it fixed and/or needed someone to drive you around; I'll miss being your "go to" guy. Sleep well my friend.

How do I say good-bye to a good friend? A friend that I have always known as Coach G and I must admit that had I known his name was Jerome there would have been some "ribbing" going on. You see that was the nature of the man - he didn't care what you called him as long as you called him, he didn't care what fun you had at his expense as long as it served a greater purpose. As humans we all have areas of strength as well as areas of opportunity, (most use the verbiage strengths & weaknesses), but Coach understood that all weaknesses are opportunities that had not been realized for whatever reason. That is what I will remember most about him, always looking for the opportunity, the positive, out of any situation. He had a strong belief in people - truly living & showing the "Givers Gain" philosophy. I will truly miss you my friend.

My recollection of Coach is this… I was in the room at the Days Inn on Genesee Street the first day that he met with any BNI people in Buffalo. He came to one of our chapter meetings I believe in 2003. He had his name tag that said Coach G, and he said please address me as Coach. We did not know him at this point and we were moving along with our Buffalo's First Chapter as best we could. But we really did not know or follow many of the tried and true BNI policies. He told us that we had many areas that needed to improve and we followed his new plans and structure. We had our first Extravaganza a couple of months later and we added around 8-10 members to our chapter at once. We then realized how talented that he was and I continued to realize over the years that if we followed his lead our region would be much the better for it. He constantly tried to motivate all of us and guide us to better ourselves as individuals, as a chapter and ultimately as a region. He was a consummate gentleman and fine leader of our BNI Family.

Coach...miss your smile and positive energy and vision for the growth potential of BNI Buffalo Niagara. We will continue to build the Region without you, but it will never be the same. Thanks for all you did to help us as individuals and as a team. You may be gone, but will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace good friend and business partner.

I did not know him as Jerome, I only knew him as "Coach G" and he did exactly that - Coached, Educated & Guided people to achieve what they were capable of. I know that somewhere in Heaven he is facilitating a Networking Mixer and building Relationships. I shall miss you my friend.
